At the recent House of Travel Awards Conference, House of Travel on Victoria walked away with some prestigious awards for the 2015 year. These included two consultants being once again awarded in the Top 20 New Zealand Consultants (out of 500). This is the 5th time Sarah Henderson has won this award and for Belinda Fifield it is her 3rd year in a row.
Along with the magnum of Veuve Clicquot and another award for the trophy cabinet, Sarah and Belinda are heading off to Bali for a fantastic winter break.
Another winner in the team was Sharon Hall collecting her first Gold Award.
The agency also received accolade from Air New Zealand with an Award for Top Supporter, South Island.
David Williams, Managing Director, House of Travel on Victoria acknowledged the prestigious value of the Awards, which he stated was mainly attributed to the growth in the business through the diversification of the travel product on offer and the strength in expertise of his personnel.
The business was established with leisure travel agents in 1995 and today has grown to a team of 25 staff with a $30million turnover. "Although holiday travel is still a major part of the business, we now operate strong corporate travel, special interest groups, sporting travel and the HOT Events divisions", says Williams.
